Price slightly high, and postage to UK is also high, just a pity that amazon UK do not stock these batterries, when we have a perfectly good Black and Decker factory outside Slough (M4 J6 London), who make the relevant Chargers. Unfortunately, they are impossible to find on the Internet, and are also devoid of 'phone no. Now for the better news. I used this pair of batterries, straight from the packet, for over 6hrs, soon after they arrived, and was still yet using 'em on extreme heavy drilling of load-bearing walls, and equally heavy screwing on the same job,still yet a few hrs yesterday. This job would otherwise have needed a mains hammer-drill. I had to quit on the final drill hole yesterday, when these batteries finally ran flat. The previous standard Silver model were no match for such a job. They were extremely well packed, as necessary for a trans-Atlantic journey, and arrived in record time, as normal for amazonUK. I will almost certainly purchase another pair of these soon, in order to keep pace with my heavy work-load. I am oft devoid of 220v mains, and rarely find a 12/24v cable long enough. I am able to recharge these Versapak while driving (12/24v) long distance, in transit. Well done again amazon, also Black and Decker.
