Unlike most people who buy this software I knew it only worked with RDP. This was exactly what I was looking for. Installing an extra client would have been a small price to pay for the nice features they promised.

The bad news is it's useless. Even after spending more than 20 hours trying to set it up, following the AWFUL PDF instructions they give you, working through the LARGE NUMBER of unexplained options, sending MANY unreturned emails and examining everything for the tiniest failure, I have determined that this software is just total garbage. I wouldn't recommend it to ANYONE even (especially) those who know exactly what RDP is and want exactly that. It's the worst software I've ever seen packaged as a system, and I've worked with internal only software.

This is awful. Save your money, time, and effort for ANY other app.

The reviews made this application seem so wonderful and easy, but it is everything but that. How in the world can I even connect my Android phone to access my Apple computer? I can't understand the tutorial and I have spent over and hour and still not luck. Any suggestions? Thank you- Suzanne [...]

    Original 1-star review:

The title and description mislead buyers into thinking that this is a VNC client. It is not. At first use, you're directed to install Imperio's PC App, and given instructions to configure your router to forward port 3389 (RDP) to your PC . \n\nIf you want to control Windows Server or Pro, and you're willing to install extraneous software, this app might work for you. \n\nIf you're looking for VNC, this app is a complete waste of money.

This RDP is absolutely great! It did however take some time to set it up correctly, and the provided instructions seem to lack a few important steps necessary to make this software work correctly. I do however have to say that Customer Service was absolutely fantastic, and got me set up and running in a few minutes (thank you Zach)! All I had to do was e-mail them and they promptly contacted me and checked all my settings via remote connection. Once the settings were adjusted, I was able to immediately connect to my home laptop from my Toshiba tablet running Android 3.1, and I was amazed by how fast the RDP is working with this software. 5 stars for this product and for the amazingly helpful team behind it.
