The original 'The Parent Trap' is one of my all-time favorite movies; I could watch it over and over and never get tired of it. It is just a beautiful, and special, movie that carries you away to another time and place.
'The Parent Trap 2' doesn't quite reach the pinnacle of the first, but it has its own special quality about it. It is a somewhat enjoyable movie, with a couple of cringy moments (nothing too major), and is a little 'dated' (not b/c it's an 80s movie per sé, but b/c of a few things that, I believe, were, intentionally, added to try to make it appear "modern" at the time, probably in order to contrast with/update from the original). It is, basically, a light, fun, somewhat feel-good movie.

Hayley Mills, Special Academy Award winner for 1960's Pollyanna, lights up the screen in Walt Disney's original classic comedy The Parent Trap (1961). Mills -- and Mills -- star as Susan and Sharon, identical twins separated at birth. Neither twin knows the other exists until a simple twist of fate finds them at the same summer camp. Then, realizing who they are, they plan a little twist of their own. The girls switch places with high hopes of getting their divorced parents (Maureen O'Hara and Brian Keith) back together. These are good wholesome movies..I loved the first Parent Trap as a young girl and the second CD is an added bonus...my daughter's liked this one when they were young girls. Double the enjoyment!
