Product Description
This cookware set is an exceptional value, including all of the pans needed to equip your kitchen with the most used cooking pieces. As the set contains only basic pieces, you'll really use each and every pan. It includes saucepans for whisking a homemade sauce or cooking your morning oatmeal, a big stockpot for soups, stews or boiling pasta, and skillets (probably the most used pan in any kitchen) that will help you turn out perfect crepes or a simple grilled cheese sandwich. The set also includes a saute pan, a wide, straight-sided pan that can perform many of the functions of a skillet but features deep sides for extra capacity, perfect for one dish meals. Start your dish in this pan by sauteing onions and browning meat, then add your liquid and other ingredients into the same pan to finish on the stovetop or in the oven.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2013I will admit. I bought this set mainly for the color. The color is a beautiful muted red. Not bright (thank goodness); but a rich, dark red.
One note: I almost put these in the dish washer. DO NOT. There's an envelope that comes inside the package that warms that if you put them in the dishwasher, it may fade the color. It seems the heat of the dishwasher can affect the finish. Therefore, be careful. However, they were easy to handwash so no worries. However, if you are someone who uses your pots and pans for serious cooking (unlike me :)) and will more than likely have a heavier clean up than what I normally have, you may not want to purchase this set unless you don't mind the color fading.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2013Very poor design and execution of this product. Two of the glass lids are the same exact size, and they do not fit any of the three skillets. The handles for all pans have an irregularly shaped hollow area under the part that connects to the body of the cookware, and it would be impossible to keep this area clean under normal conditions of use or maintenance. The saucepans are an odd shape. The bottom of the pans is a glossy black material that doesn't look as though it would stand up to abrasion from any sort of cooking surface.
Other problems include inaccurate return instructions that refer to an enclosed return label (not present) and conflicting information concerning refunds (question whether return freight is included). The web-address to seek replacement labels is no longer active, and the home web-site does not have a category specifically for product returns.
Will purchase another set of cookware from a reliable local source after inspecting the products being sold.
Have requested return from the vendor.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 1, 2014This product did not hold up. HOWEVER, I did contact Kitchen Aid with my issue. They guided me to the Analon series that does hold up and has done so for well over a year now, couldn't be happier with that. Kitchen Aid applied the cost of this set towards my Analon set and made me a satisfied customer. So... Buy the Analon.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2012When I bought these I thought they would be a little more heavy duty. Don't get me wrong, these are a decent quality p&p's but not what I think of when I think of Kitchenaid. The bottoms are the same thickness as the sides with no extra cook surface. Although the handles are decent quality with good size pop rivets. Also the large saute' pan is only 31/2 qts, kind of small. I used to be a chef and I was used to good commercial heavy duty p&p's, but they were a lot more expensive. Also by being a chef I am very hard on my p&p's. But hey if you are looking for a nice looking set of p&p's and are gental on your cookware these might be for you.
I have since looked at more p&p's and found that the Tfal's are a little better quality for the money or for just a little more coin the Martha Stewarts are real nice. God bless and bon appatite'.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2012I just replaced my old T-Fal nonstick set with this red KitchenAid set. They look great, cook well, and clean up easily. The clear covers are great. My only problem is that the handles, which nicely stay cool, are a bit heavy, so when I put a saucepan or frypan on my gas stove, the pot will fall off the burner unless I point the handle directly over one of the supports. So if you have electric burners, great. If you have gas, I would not recommend it. (Just this morning frypan with melting butter fell off the burner onto the counter, fortunately not on me).
- Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2015These look so great and they cook wonderfully. I like the rubber on the handles keeping your hand and fingers from getting burned. I love the updated look. Really stylish. I do have problems keeping them clean on the outside but I think that is inclusive to me.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2012I bought these pans to replace the mismosh of pans my husband and I gathered before we were together. The first time I used the large skillet the coating scratched. Now I would blame myself except I was using a wooden spatula that should not in any way damage non-stick coating. After that I packed the pans up in the box and returned them for a full refund. Really kitchen aid, I expected more.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 28, 2012Looses two stars for the following:
1) Even when only half-full, the condensation in the lid begins to spit around the pot and make a mess on only a LOW boil. I've seldom had this happen with previous cookware and it's a mess to clean up.
2) The handles on the lid get too hot because of the metal and you will need a pothold to pick lids off. I find this a little inconvenient when cooking on a stove top.
3) The large pot's handles get too hot, even when it's less than half full, and I needed pot holders to hang on to it while stirring. Very inconvenient.
4) The red plastic under the handles started coming loose after awhile on one of the frying pans that was used more often.
Otherwise, they cook evenly and look very attractive, but they have poor design for handling.
