Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

This cable may look like the USB 3.0, but somehow it doesn't fit perfectly. Something is wrong with its B plug that it is hard to plug in to the corresponding slot. I tried to wiggle it in until i was able to but my computer would drop the connection to my external hard drive every once i a while and it only happens when i am using this cable.
For the right kind of application this cable is very functional. However the casing's construction makes it difficult to wind. It is stiff and probably would not be very happy to handle any true right angles. The connectors are machined a bit on the large side and while fit devices on both the 2.0 and 3.0 side, it takes a little tweaking to get a good fit (tried in two different devices).
All in all it did work for me with decent through-put. But would not make a good "travel" cable.
The cables seem to be of good quality and at a good price, but they seem to be a bit too stiff, due to the weaved jacket. In addition, I would prefer rubber/plastic jacket in place of the weaved jacket, but I can't complain too much, because they work fine for me. I think that in some applications their stiffness may limit their application for some people.
I make a point of reviewing everything I buy from amazon, but every once in a while there is a product that just "is" what I expected. Great connections, very secure; decently thick wire, well insulated; and longer than most of the free cables that came with the oodles of gadgets I have using a this connection. Great price too. ^_)^
the only negative is the braid feels more like cheap plastic than I expected. but i still believe that its a quality wire with good insulation. if anything changes, i'll send up the red flag.
the photos show a traditional micro usb hub. The photos are wrong. the actual product looks nothing like it. It is a "micro b" which is shaped like a "b" and does not fit the majority of new phones. Cables for Causes is a deceitful company that puts falsified photos about their products
That reviewer who thought this product was deceptive is just dead wrong. The picture shows a micro-B USB 3.0 end, and that is what it is. Works great, robust cable.
I don't usually buy items on Amazon w/o a review, and this price was below any price I had seen anywhere, even cheap ones on FleaBay, so I was suspicious. For Three Bucks and Prime Shipping I went for it and was glad I did. It is 2m long which I needed but may be too long for many people. Also, the cord is thick and braided like some old Tandy computer cable from the 80's which may turn off some people. However it does the job in that attached to my USB 3.0 drive and USB 3.0 PCIe adapter I was able to get speeds close to 90Mbps (I think I wrote that correct). I had faster speeds copying to my drive than from my drive, I think the platter on my old computer is the culprit.
Anyway, if you have Amazon Prime and three bucks rolling around your back seat, you can't go wrong with this mother.
These cables seem to work just fine. I am getting speeds of around 55 mb per second, which makes things transfer very quickly. I had bought a pair of cables-to-go and those did not work.
