These markers/pens are perfect for highlighting as I read, then flagging the pages in which I have highlighted passages so they are easy to find later when I need to include a quote or a reference in my assignments. Also, the convenience of a pen on the other end makes this ideal for note taking in class when following along in a book or on a handout! I don't have to keep picking up a highlighter, then swapping out and picking up a pen, all I have to do is flip from one end to the other in order to accomplish both tasks. It is finally nice to have something in one place. I have had these for around 6 months and I still tabs ink and highlighters lift. In fairness I do use other pens as well, but I only use the highlighter when I need to highlight something and the same with the tabs. I always keep one in my purse and in my car.

I use to have the old Post-It Highlighter where the flags were inside the pen, you’d twist the pen’s body to open up the section to access the flag. I prefer that version, but since they don’t sell it anymore, this is a decent alternative.

These pens should be great, 5-star, all-in brilliant. Unfortunately, two things make them just 'okay'.

By way of good points, they are a good highlighter and ball-point pen, with attached flags that allow document review for an absolute minimum of pencil-case space. You just need one pen for all of it. Great. The weight is nice, the pen fits smaller hands better as there are two lids to take off and put on. The clip that contains the flags is close to your hand whilst writing, so you will not want to use this for more than a few annotations.

Then the issues: firstly the flags - they run out really quickly as there are only 50 and I just cannot find replacements. The 0.47 inch flags will not fit. You need 0.37 inch flags. Which no-one sells. At least, no-one that I have found. Secondly, the pen lids are angled, which makes them a pain to put back on. Small issue, but you will not want to leave the lid off this highlighter as it is small and will quickly dry up. So the lid goes on many times during a review session and each time, it's very slightly irritating to put back on.

Happily, these are usually not too expensive, so I would still recommend them, for the sheer convenience of having everything in one pen. The pen would still be worth 5-stars, were it not for the no-refills issue. If anyone has found refills, please do let me know!

These are literally my life, as a college student first used in high school this is all you need besides a pencil. the pen for some reason writes really good and balanced. the post it note is great while taking notes and the highlighter is really good quality i just love these so much. the only con is if you lose the cap its hard to get another or if the highlighter dries out but thats if you leave out along time but this thing lasts years if you take care of it. God bless please make more colors, i would love a purple and green one

I learned about these on an Oprah show many years ago. I use them all the time, the ink lasts a surprisingly long time, the flags will run out if you're a flag maniac though. When you go to replace the flags you're looking for the small size - they are somewhat hard to find and expensive (relatively) - you might be better off buying a new highlighter with flags at these prices.
