I'm very pleased with this product. It plays CD's, tapes and has an AM/FM radio too. The sound is good and best of all it is small enough, and both AC/DC powered, so I can take it anywhere.

CD player worked for 2 weeks after I took it out of the box. Then the sound we away, still spinning but no sound at all. What was strange was that the radio still played. Unfortunately, I was out of town when it arrived so I missed the Amazon return policy by 1 day. Will not buy a Naxa product again. It sounded great for the first 2 weeks.

I needed a new cassette player. I like audio books on tape. They are less money and more durable than CD's. I agree with all the other bad reviews on this product such as analog dial that makes it hard to tune into a radio station, not great sound quality and eats cassette tapes. Two months after purchasing it the audio tapes were terribly distorted and then eaten.Naxa NX-207 Silver CD Cassette Player Tape Recorder AM FM Radio Boombox I purchased a radio, CD player and cassette player. Because I didn't spend $300 on a Bose I don't deserve to have a product actually do what I purchased it for? I have gone through so many of these at the cheaper price that I went for the one listed at $130 and it still didn't work. Is is luck to have one work or are we all being duped?

I had never heard of this brand prior to purchasing it, but this was going to be a gift to my mother who wanted a stereo that played cassettes and CD's.

Let me just say that this is an almost perfect stereo that does both jobs effectively. The sound quality is pretty good, not perfect, but for the price it definitely does the job. My mother uses this stereo for cookouts in our backyard and amidst loud taking and drinking the stereo can still compete with the noise. All in all, I would recommend this!

After looking at many portable radio/dvd players, we ended up with this one as previous reviews stated it was a great product and lower in price than comparable items. I agree...it a great product for our kitchen counter and the radio reception is good and the sound quality on the dvd is great. Would highly recommend for anyone needing a small music player!

if any of you have seen my reviews, then you know i only care about quality and dependability. this is the type of cheap junk that you would find in a korean dollar store in a bad section of town! this is the type of radio that has a mind of it's own. if it feels like locking onto a station it will, if not it wont! the am reception is so poor as to be non-existant. also concerning am stations; channels have terrible station back ground noise. there are only 3 fm stations that come in half way decent and that occurs only after 5-10mins of positioning the radio to pick up the channel. the cd player will only play store bought cd's, dont waste your time with your custom mix cd's. the cassette player is that in name only; it records lousy and plays even worse! oh', i almost forgot about the sound quality of the cd's..when you turn up the volume loud enough for someone other than yourself to hear it; it sounds like the conductor on a new york subway train announcing stops.(skit from sat.night live). verdict: save your money!

I am 60 years old (to hopefully indicate my careful, responsible use of my NEW CD player) and used my CD player in a single location (it was NOT moved about) to listen to CD's (audio books or music). I have not moved OR abused the player. It lasted 3 1/2 months! Of course the last date to return this item was August 27th. I could not possibly endorse this product and will use better judgement and purchase a "name" brand to replace this item.
