My daughter loves this comforter; it is warm and very light, so she seems comfortable sleeping. I find that giving it a quick shake once a week helps to disperse feathers that may have pooled at one end of the comforter. We bought an Ikea duvet cover, and it fits perfectly. I think this comforter is pretty good quality, with a good amount of fluffy down - I popped it in the dryer with a tennis ball when we received it, and it helped to quickly fluff it up after it was somewhat flattened by the shipping box. Haven't had issues with feathers falling out yet, but we'll see. I find that with most down comforters you're going to lose a few feathers with each duvet cover change. Size-wise, it's good for the crib, and will probably fit a toddler bed as well.

I think this is an excellent down comforter for a crib or toddler bed. After about 2-3 weeks, the comforter still has plenty of down in all the squares, with no obvious down "leaking". No feathers popped out yet either. It's also pretty warm. The fabric is not that soft and makes a bit of a "crinkly" noise when touching/moving the comforter, but perhaps this is because it has some water resistance or is less likely to have feathers pop through the fabric. That's just conjecture and it's not bad when the comforter is placed inside a duvet cover. And yes, this comforter fits almost perfectly in an IKEA crib size duvet cover, yay!

This is a wonderful comforter for a toddler. My son was so excited to get a big boy blanket on his new big boy bed that he forgot about his blankie and I put it away and he never asked for it again. This is so soft and comfortable and totaly washable (with a toddler boy I have washed it many times now and comes out like new every time). It does drop alot of down as most down comforters do. It was solved by putiing a cover over it like you do with a large down comforter. I don't know if you can get them this size, I didn't look. I am handy with a sewing machine so I bought a flat sheet and folded it and sewed the two sides and put buttons at the opening and had a comforter cover. I have been useing this for 3+ monthes and do love it.

Update: Retired this little comforter this year, my son is five now and it did a great job, was washed hundreds of times. It never got a hole but most of the fluff is gone. I bought a new one for my second son and he loves it.

Ordered this down blanket for my baby, even though it is a bit big for him now, it fits perfectly to his crib and also fits the baby's IKEA duvets (they sell set duvet and pillow case for the crib). The comforter is VERY COMFORTING, lightweight and cozy, yet very warm. I would recommend it for every baby who needs to stay warm to sleep more peacefully on a cold night. When my son feels too warm under this blanket, he pushes it away with his legs! For those potential buyers who are afraid of bad reviews for this comforter (choking issue), I would recommend to buy a baby video monitor to know your baby's whereabouts, because "chocking issue" is not anyhow related to this great product, it is related to parental carelessness.

I bought this goose down for my 18 month old who still sleeps in a crib. Other reviews complain about how little down there is and I can see what they mean. It's not densely packed or anything. However, personally, I think it's the perfect amount of down. It's still super fluffy and light as air. My son loves sleeping under this and keeps him toasty warm on cold nights. It's also good for warmer nights.

I bought an ikea duvet cover and it's perfect.

not much down in this blanket - pretty cheaply made for the price. I should have bought the Pacific Coast Feather crib blanket instead

Bought this for fall/winter for a 3 month old, at the time. She's been sleeping under it every night. It keeps her comfy and warm. Right away I saw an increase in her sleeping time. It's much warmer than any blanket. It's a bit difficult to get covers for this item but boppy makes a few that fit. We are very happy with this product.
