I really enjoyed this game not only for myself but also for my two boys that are 5 and 3. They both enjoy playing the game with me and also with each other. It is pretty easy but what do you expect for a kids game. :) I like how it has the auto help for when a mini puzzle is a little difficult to figure out. There are some tasks you can't finish until later but that is what makes the game fun, you have to go back through and re-do each level to be able to get the chests that are bigger.

I search for games that are easy enough for my 3 year to play without asking me for help. This is it. The controls are easy once you figure them out. I rate this 5 Stars. Couldn't ask for better :)

This is a very good game for kids, it's easy, straight forward and has quite a few levels to get through. It is very similar to the movie so your kids will enjoy seeing things that they remember from the 4th Shrek. It's not an "open world" concept like the Toy Story 3 video game (which is by far the best game I have seen for children), but it's still enjoyable without much re-playability. The icons that tell you what needs to be done are easy to decipher and do not require that your child know how to read yet, very helpful when your child wants to play, but you have to step away to make dinner, etc. It's a good game, not for hard core gamers of course, but extremely enjoyable for the younger crowd.

You can select and play as the different characters. Each character has their own special ability. There are some puzzles or problem solving where you need to figure out how to move on And get pass certain points. You can also upgrade your characters. When a character dies you can just choose another on, the character's health slowly goes back up when you aren't using them. You can also use potions to heal health and power ups to defeat the bad guys. The quality/graphics were kind of old for my tastes but I could see that it would have been a fun game to play while it first came out. I played it as two players with a shared screen, I can't remember if you can have 4 or not.

Fun game I'm am 22 bought for my son when he gets a little older I have been playing it because I don't like him watching me play COD so this is nice to play in front of him. I played two player with my husband we had a good time playing it was easy to beat so I'd say it would be best for 5-8 year olds depending on skill levels I'm sure a 10 year old kid could beat it in two days one day if they play it all day. But still fun especially if they like the movies

We got this for my 4 & 6 yr olds, they like it except it's only 1 player :( Have to help the younger one get the hang of it, but my 6 yr old got it pretty quick. You have to change the character alot which can be a little confusing/ frustrating for the little one.

3.0 out of 5 stars then this is probably one of the best games to give you what you're looking for

If you're a fan of Shrek, then this is probably one of the best games to give you what you're looking for. The visuals aren't great, it's quite simple to play through, and the voice acting at times can be pretty horrendous, however it was made for a younger audience, so that is to be expected (plus it's a movie licensed game, which typically don't work out too well). If you like Shrek enough, and want a game of it bad enough, then this isn't too bad of a choice.
