    We've had this laptop for almost two years and have had no problems with it. I still haven't, however, gotten used to the mouse pad but with a purchased wireless nano mouse this has not been a problem. It is adequately fast for a laptop, has been durable, and, for our use, has adequate capacity. The only negative we have is my wife (an account) does not like the non-standard layout of the numeric keypad. Other than that, it's been excellent.

    I needed a new laptop and Samsung seemed to be the brand to buy, with Google choosing it to make its netbooks and great reviews for its displays. I narrowed it down to several models, and I would have bought a more expensive one but my friends thought the prices were too high, so even though it's my money, I guess I caved and "settled" for a cheaper model. I can't say I've been disappointed.

    Windows 7 is taking a while to get used to, but that's the OS and not the computer. I had a WiFi issue early on, where I could connect at home but nowhere else. I called Samsung support from the coffee shop and an American guy helped me. I had heard Samsung laptops often have Wifi issues and feared I'd have to return mine, but after a very long phone session, he had me update something and, voila, I have had no issues since.

    The machine is perhaps a little larger and a little heavier than I might want, but it's also a lot cheaper than the ultralight ones, and it's not like it's a brick. Plenty of USB outlets. I only used the CD drive once and it was slow and noisy but since I rarely use it, I don't much care.

    I started looking for a second laptop to use for my machine embroidery programs and files. I knew what I wanted in a laptop and this Samsung had it all and the price was right. I compared the features of this Samsung with a lot of other laptops. Some did not have comparable memory, hard drive size, speed and well, the total package. I had just so much money to spend on this venture and feel I found exactly what I wanted. Some laptops did not even have a CD drive, some only had one USB port, this one has three and they were priced too high. The Samsung I purchased came with Windows 7 OS, full software. I did not have to go online and buy something else to use it. I have nothing bad to say about this laptop. It is equipped with everything. I would suggest those that are thinking about buying a laptop, please compare all of the individual features each have, within the price range you have. You can not go wrong with this Samsung laptop!!! Happy computing!!
