- Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2023These are Robs first two films and in my opinion the best two. The following movies in this series muddy the waters and never answer questions posed by the first movie. The second movie is a continuation of the first with a less fantastical tone. I really like the Blu-ray multipacks and having a double shot of Zombie is a win. I rate House of 1000 Corpses a 6.3/10 now that it is fresh in my mind. Keep in mind the time these came out and curb your expectations.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2024If you are into horror flicks, and you admire the work of Rob Zombie, I highly recommend these movies, you won’t be disappointed.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2013While these may not be the best movies ever, they are great to watch if you like Rob Zombie or twisted films in general. I read all the other reviews and I honestly don't care that the DVD versions have more special features or whatever; I wanted the films and I wanted them to look right on my HD TV. If you are not familiar with these movies, make sure to watch House of a 1000 corpses first before the Devil's Rejects or you will ruin it for yourself. These movies are not for people who freak out over nudity scenes, gore, etc. I am overall satisfied with the blu-ray ports and would buy another if I lost my copy. 5 out of 5 stars.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2020Man the devils rejects are BAD TO the bone. This was the BEST of zombie.

THAT FAMILY IS BAD ASS!!!
BLOOD AND GORE WITH NO BORE!!

BUY THIS MOVIE!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2020House of 1000 Corpses was famously butchered by the MPAA, and given an R rating. Don't bother with Rob Zombie's audio commentary, he doesn't say a word about it. This is an ok enough movie, although in its current form, doesn't make a whole lot of sense. It's more of an exercise in style and homage. I saw a number of nods, including The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (TCM 2's own Bill Moseley has a starring role), Bloodsucking Freaks, and a vintage De Palma shot! Rob chose a real interesting cast, from people of the past, to future stars. I've always had the DVD edition of House of 1000 Corpses, but recently upgraded to the double feature Blu-ray. I have to say, the details and color look pretty amazing on Blu-ray, but Lionsgate didn't bother to clean up the print!
The Devil's Rejects fares much better in terms of cohesiveness, character, and story. Rob Zombie went all out on casting this one, from many faces of exploitation cinema, and beyond (including Priscilla Barnes from Three's Company?!). I must say, the retro soundtrack gives this movie a bizarro/surreal quality, although admittedly Free Bird backing the final showdown was pretty great. I was always under the impression the Rejects died in this, but there is now (14 years later) a third subsequent movie.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 20, 2020I mean it's the Rob Zombie classics on Blu-Ray in a super affordable two pack. If youre into classic exploration horror of the 70s then this is right up your ally. It arrived a day later than expected but thats okay. I still only had to wait two days. They are both chock full of special features, trailers, all that wonderful extra stuff.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 30, 2020These had to be added to the collection of horror films i have. Both are good in their own seperate ways, but i think the House of 1000 corpses is quite terrifying, mainly due to the fact that it could be somewhat true or at least could happen to people.

4.0 out of 5 stars ATTENTION, REGION A
The movies are great, but House of 1000 Corpses is a REGION A Bluray and will not work on european Bluray players or PS3's. Unfortunately i didnt notice that when i buyed that bluray pack and thats why i cant watch "House of..." seems like i have to buy now a european version, damn! But The Devil's Rejects is REGION FREE so at least i can watch one of this masterpieces.
Still 5 Stars for the movies.
But 4 Stars for one NOT-REGION FREE movie.
Damn why cant they do all blurays region free!?

5.0 out of 5 stars Two for the price of One. EXCELLENT
Looked around, and realized I didn't have either of these films on my shelf.
Looked here, and saw the Double Feature pack of them.
Great buy, I love them both, and having the two is a great primer for when 3 From Hell is released later this year.
I CANNOT recommend The Devil's Rejects enough. Until Kingsman came out, only Forrest Gump and Devil's Rejects had used Freebird properly in a film.
Get this if you're looking to upgrade from DVD to Blu.
ONE complaint. And it's very petty.
The cover having the second film at the top just aggravates me. Personal quibble, but it irritates me that it's not the first film up too with the second on the bottom of the cover. Like I said, a petty quibble.
Other than that, this is worth the purchase. 👍

5.0 out of 5 stars Good buy. Worked and was brand spanking new
Blu-Ray came quickly, worked in my cheapo player, and was absolutely 100% as I'd hoped
What else can I say?
