- Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2013Ordered one of these last June when I finally upgraded my old outdated system. One of these is great, it handled pretty much every game I threw at it at 60FPS. Dirt 3, Deus Ex, Need For Speed Most Wanted(2012), RR-Unbound, SC2, Diablo 3, borderlands 2. All of them averaged 59-61FPS, and that was with just one card.
Now I have 2 of these in Crossfire mode and I'm running Battlefield 3 at 55-60FPS constant on highest settings.
The best part about this is the fact that the Radeon HD 6770 is a great card at a really low price.
I paid 120.00 for the first one when I got it and got 2 free games with it and I paid 110.00 for this one, and when you're on a tight budget building a PC, it's really good bang for the buck. A lot better then having to dish out in upwards of over 300 dollars for one of the newest cards out.
All in all it's a great buy: Will recommend to others
- Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2013The graphics are great on later games but using it on older games makes my screen go weird. I bought to use three screens and that side is great.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2013Item broke within 3 months of purchasing. Tried to return and the manufacturer would not honor or take back.
Not happy as this was a cheaply made item at a not so cheap price. Bearings broke, and fan stopped running.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 5, 2012Was looking forward to upgrading dual ATI 4650 cards to a superior single card. I run triple monitors and wanted better single card performance with triple monitor support since the Motherboard does not support crossfire. After researching higher level cards and concluding many require a higher power supply than my 460W I decided the 6770 was the GPU I needed. I chose this card based on the XFX name, a good after rebate price of $88 and mostly positive reviews. After installing and finding triple monitors could not be supported by a Displayport to HDMI cable that I also purchased (the Displayport to HDMI cable must be an active or powered cable that cost 30-50 dollars) I decided to install the card in an identical second PC in the house. Both PC's have core I-7 and could benefit from better graphics cards.
Unfortunately the fan noise in both installations was unbearable as a few have also written about so I am returning it. For me I find this to be a major flaw in the design of the card as the noise negates any positive of the upgrade in performance that I might have gained. I hope I am able to find a better built (quieter) 6770 card as the specs for the 6770 are optimum for my PC's.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 24, 2013For all of you wondering why you can't use three monitors here's the secret.. by using the display, hdmi and one dvi port you can utilize three separate displays... If you use the hdmi and the dual dvi you can set it up so it's all one screen in eyefinity keep in mind you must have three monitors running same resolution..I'm running three separate displays, display to vga, hdmi to hdmi and dvi to vga.. 23" monitor running 1920x1080. 19inch monitor running 1440x900 and my mini 13 inch running 1024x768.. Hopefully that clarifies the solution, you do not need to buy a special 50.00 converter for the one extra display.. I had to buy a display to vga cord and a dvi to vga but they are cheap.. You might not need one if you have the proper connections already..
I bought one of these to begin with after reading all the positive reviews and of course the 30 dollar rebate.. Bought the other after figuring out what I was doing wrong.. At first I was disappointed after being familiar to running g-force base cards.. one system running a zotac 240gt Zone "very impressed" and the other running 2 x galaxy 250gts on an Sli bridge I really wanted to go Zotac ... I was very leery about going ATI but the MSI Mobo 890gxm-g65 was only compatible ATI and better yet in improved x-fire mode..
In order to make this card run properly with maximum frame rate you must open it up in your ATI control panel and set everything to maximum if you don't you'll run around WoW bumping along like flat tire.. by opening them up they run smoothly.. In x-fire mode they are rather impressive... this computer was a budget build with a bang.. easily comparable to a higher end unit..

- Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2012I bought this to use in conjunction with an Ivy Bridge processor's integrated graphics so I could run 3 monitors without having to use DisplayPort. It seems that 2 DVI ports on a graphics card is rare, this is one of the only ones I found. I have 1 monitor running through HDMI off the Ivy Bridge's graphics, and the other 2 monitors off the 2 DVI ports on this card, and after a little tweaking in the BIOS etc. it worked like a charm. I don't use it too heavily, no games or anything, but it was simple and painless and works great, so I'm quite happy.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 16, 2018kinda loud and runs hot
- Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2012Do not buy this graphics card.
Unless you pair this thing with an i7 and 16 gig of ram, don't expect a lot.
I bought this mainly for Diablo 3, since it's on their "high performance" list on their website.
I popped it in and loaded the latest drivers, and didn't see a single area of increased performance from my GeForce 9600GT, which is an extremely old card.
I plan on returning mine to Fry's tomorrow.
