- Reviewed in the United States on July 10, 2012These are tire covers, they do exactly what they are supposed to do. I just got mine so I can't say much on how long they will last, but they cover my tires perfectly. And the stap and buckle on the back side are a bonus to keep them tied tight around the tires.
I am one of those people who have a camp trailer but live close to where I camp. That means my tires will sun-rot before I ever wear out the tread. I hate that. These tire covers are a much cheaper alternative than buying new tires before you even wear the tread out.
My tires are 225 75R 15 so I had to find a tire conversion calculater online to get the correct size. Mine come to 28.3" tires. Some reviewers are saying to buy a size bigger. I bought the correct size and they fit perfect. I don't believe going bigger would be bad, but if they flap and move alot in the wind they may wear out faster than if they are snug on the tire.
I also chose these covers for a special purpose. I have the BAL x-chocks on my trailer because my driveway is steep, so I needed a tire cover that would work with those. Search (BAL 28012 X-Chock Tire Locking Chock) if you don't know what those are. They go in between the tires which would be in the way of the tire cover. I installed the tire covers rotated just a little so that the bottom/edge can wrap around the x-chocks. This probably wouldn't work well without the strap, so that makes this tire cover the one for me. My tires are still fully covered and protected from the sun, and are very secure. I like them so much I ordered another set for my work trailer.
I took a picture of the side of the box which shows all the tire sizes these will work with. I will post that picture on the product page for your reference.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 3, 2022Usually Camco products are the lowest quality. These tire covers are an exception to that. I was surprised when I opened the boxes to find thick, sturdy, well-lined tire covers. I got these for my car. They are so much sturdier than the brand I have on my RV (Classic Accessories), which are much thinner, but have held up anyway. Both vehicles get parked in the desert all winter, 5th winter this year. These tire covers have thick elastic fittings around the top curve of the tire, which hugs the tire and keeps it on, even in high winds—even if I didn't snap the clasp at the bottom (which is much sturdier that the the bungee with ball & loop that the RV tire covers came with). I can honestly recommend these. I just wish they made them in a gray color. Tip: Get them an inch or two bigger than your tires so you don't have to wrestle them on!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2011Size: 24-26 inchesColor: WhiteVerified PurchaseJudging from a couple of other reviews on Amazon, I was a little concerned that the 24" - 26" size Camco Wheel & Tire Protectors might be too small for my 26" diameter trailer tires. I was pleasantly surprised to find that these protectors fit perfectly! The elastic pocket at the top fits snugly over the top of the tires, and the bottom of the protector reaches just to the ground.
A few points of note:
- These items cost about 1/3 as much as the equivalent items sold by Camping World under a different brand name, but they seem to be at least as well made as the more expensive brand.
- I previously owned the wheel & tire protectors that Camping World sells, so I can say from experience that the strap/buckle arrangement on these Camco protectors is much easier to use than the strange elastic cord thing on "brand X" from Camping World.
- I really don't see a good way to install these without laying on the ground to reach the strap behind the tire, so be prepared with a garbage bag or something else to lay on. The same was true of the Camping World protectors.)
Now I will see how they make it through the winter.
Update: I have now been using these tire protectors through three winters, and they are still in good shape.
Update again: Four winters now and these tire covers are still in good shape!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 7, 2019Size: 33-35 inchesColor: WhiteVerified PurchaseI bought these for my SUV that we only use for long distance travel so dry rot is a problem. I read dozens of reviews for multiple products before purchasing these. My tires measured exactly 30 1/2 inches, so the first set I ordered was the 30-32". They were too tight. I sent them back and got the larger size. They fit much better.
The material is thick and the inside is covered with a cottony like insulating material that came off on the tire when I took it off, but that is a small issue. It is thick. I really like that the hook for the cover is at the base, something I could not find in any other cover. All you have to do is sling it around the back of the tire, hook it and tighten it. This was a huge thing for me as we did not want to crawl under the truck to put them on and off every time we used it since we were planning to use them in between trips as opposed to just during the storage of a RV.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2019Size: 30-32 inchesColor: WhiteVerified PurchaseAs a freshman RV'er I made the mistake of buying my first set of wheel protectors as breathable material -needless to say they got filthy, looked horrible and then rotted out in two seasons. I bought the Camco vinyl covers that wipe clean each week I am at the site, I also treat them with something to keep them from cracking because the vinyl WILL crack if you don't keep them clean and pliable. Using Lucas tire shine detailer has done the trick and I am now on my 7th year of owning them and they still look like new. Remember, the sun will dry out the vinyl and they will crack if you don't take care of them. So take a few minutes each week and wipe them down and spray something on them to keep them nice and soft. It worked for me, and others I RV with from April to October.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Covers
Size: 36-39 inchesColor: Off-WhiteVerified PurchaseBought these to replace Adco covers we bought from Camping World a few years ago. These work great. Tires have full protection from sun and colour matches RV . Buckles take a bit of effort to secure the cover but are a lot more dependable than velcro fasters
