    12/10/12 I just received the Duofold Men's Midweight Ankle Length long johns and as far as I can tell the product is a decent product, however, I purchased this item from NY Lingerie and because of their very poor and skimpy packing the box that the product comes in was nearly destroyed and some of the long john was hanging out of the box. All NY Lingerie did was put the box in a soft plastic envelope and send....period. No protection whatsoever. Also, the item took 11 days to arrive. I won't deal with them again. Nothing against the product.
    1/11/13 My fiance has now worn the Duofold Men's Midweight Ankle Length long johns several times and loves them. He says the nicest he has had. Fit well, soft and warm. Would highly recommend them. I will buy him a couple more pair.

    I'm over 60 now, and a few days each winter when it's really cold (below 20F) I was still wearing the old Duofold long johns I got for a ski trip way way back during my college years. But they had never been quite the right size, fit even less well as I grew larger over the years, and had collected enough rips and tears that pulling them on was an adventure. Finally I couldn't stand it any more and set out to replace them. I'm 6'2", so I was somewhat dubious about sizing and was looking for some sort of "tall" or "extra long" option. Finally I ordered these in size XX-Large, despite my doubts about no apparent special allowance for length. When they arrived I grew even more dubious, as they looked awfully thin and not all that long. But when I put them on I was surprised and very pleased. Right away I noticed they adapted to my long legs and stayed down overlapping the tops of my socks and didn't ever threaten to expose any bits of bare calf. And after a few tens of minutes of test wearing them outside in the cold, it was clear they were _warmer_ than my old ones (at the same time as being a whole lot more comfortable: lighter, fit better, etc.). So now I'm all set for several more decades of winters.

    Super basic long underwear. The color is nice and the fabric is soft. It's not flattering, really, but is that a feature you expect in long underwear? I do wear regular underwear underneath these also. The rise is too high and they're a bit too baggy up top for it to be comfortable without. However, the combo isn't too bulky and really does do a good job keeping me warm on really cold days. I got the Small, but normally wear 32 or 33 waist pants, so these fit a bit big. As a shorter guy, I appreciate that the legs are not too long. They come right to my ankles.

    I usually wear these when the temperature is below 40 degrees, but one day the temp went up to 60 when I had these on earlier in the day when it was colder and interestingly enough, I was not over heated. They do a great job of keeping the wind from blowing right "through" me and it's very comfortable to wear these at work. They don't "stick" to your legs, they have a very relaxed fit. I thought the price was a little high but this is a good quality product so I won't complain. I bought two pair, white and dark navy, for every occasion! ;-)

    I've purchased several (5 pairs) of these Duofold thermal pants over the years and have been satisfied. They are soft, keep me warm and fit well - until this last pair. Although I ordered the same size as usual, these last 2 pair were noticeably smaller. So much smaller as to be a little uncomfortable. The others pairs in the exact same size were much roomier and more comfortable.
