Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Did not have any navigational problems apart from regular ones( not updated maps etc.) until unit got stolen. Wish battery was a little bit better because I used this Garmin going into woods too. Connector is fragile - eventually it broke and I had to rig it myself - as a result lost radio wires in the cable - left only power. I wish Garmin would erase used part of the route - when making 270 turns or U-turns it is difficult to distinguish between route already taken and route to take.
This GPS system has all the latest features you can have in one unit. It has Lifetime Traffic Receiver, Bluetooth, Media Player, FM Transmitter, Lane Assist with realistic Junction View, Multi-custom Routes (Autosort up to 10 different routes with multiple destinations), ecoRoute(it's a kind of gas optimizer aid that gives scores depending on the way you're driving), Picture Viewer, Language Guide with bilingual dictionaries, Calculator, Unit Converter, World Clock, and a SD Memory card expansion slot.
I work on deliveries and the Autosort Multiple Destinations and the Traffic Receiver features are very helpful. I've used it for six months and had no issues with my Traffic Receiver car charger so far.
I would rate the performance of the device 4/5. I wouldn't rate it 5/5, because sometimes, the unit freezes temporarily, I think, for the heavy use or for overheating when I leave it exposed to the sun in my car. Used several Garmin GPS and that problem is frequent in some devices.
When it works, it works well, but I've had it for less than a year and had to send it back for repair three times. Everyone who has one has the same complaint. The car charger only lasts a couple of months. At $500, I expect more.
