Customers say

Customers find the screwdriver set works well for various tasks and offers good value for the price, with a good assortment of bits that are particularly useful for tiny work. However, the quality receives mixed feedback, with some finding it decent while others say it's cheaply built. Moreover, the grip is problematic as bits tend to slip into the handle, and the size is criticized for being too small for anything beyond the included bits. Additionally, the plastic material construction receives negative feedback from customers.

Not very precision or durable.
Purchased this for working on my new found hobby, RC helicopters. Anyone who knows about these knows they have INCREDIBLY small screws in very hard to reach areas. So I needed a set that had many different sizes yet flexible enough to work in tight spots and this set appeared to fit the bill. 1st off is the cheap handle. All plastic and fragile but I'm not putting much torque on it so it will work. 2nd off is a problem with the locking collar on front. You really can't tighten it much as it starts flexing and I think if you push it too hard it will crack. That creates a problem as the tips slide back into the handle if the collar isn't tight. One workaround is to use the extension but then it adds girth to the driver and cannot fit into the tiny areas. Plus the extension slides back into the handle during use so it's basically garbage. 3rd which is very disappointing is the rusting of the bits. For whatever reason my set rusted up within 2 months although it was stored inside the house, in the case in my desk drawer. Nothing else in there rusted so I'm guessing cheap metals used for the bits. The rusting does effect the fitment of the bits so oil your set if you buy one. Or better yet, don't buy one.

I bought this to take apart hard drives and other smaller electronics. Though the handle feels very flimsy as it's entirely plastic, it's held together very well and so far has included every bit I've needed to disassemble various computer parts. I've yet to strip out any of the bits, and considering how cheap the set was, it's an easy addition to any tool set.

Here's the skinny on this tool. Let me say out of the gate that this is a good value, and that the comments herein are meant to help those who either are considering this tool, or have one already.

    1. The "non-standard" shafts are actually 5/32" and all of the bits may be used successfully with a nut driver of that size, such as the xcelite P5, available from Amazon for about 3-1/2 bucks. I already had an xcelite set, so didn't need to buy one.
    2. The bits are MANY, this is good value from that perspective.
    3. Judging by micrographic examination the bits seem to have been formed but not post-machined. This means that they are not sharp (yes you can sharpen a bit!). All of the edges are fairly rounded, suggesting that they will more easily slip under torque than a more expensive machined bit. Some of this can be corrected by a simple mild grinding to the tip of certain bits, but nothing is going to correct the lack of sharpness of the flutes, such as the Torx bits (the reason I bought this set).
    4. The plastic handle is a joke. Plastic nut over a plastic expansion collar is all that holds the bits. This is ok for the really small bits, but you'll easily overpower this handle with any of the larger bits. As I mentioned earlier, use a 5/32 P5 driver if you need any real torque.
    5. Nice case, but I wish there was some kind of notation near each bit telling you, for example, T4, T5 and so on. I'll probably end up writing it in with a sharpie. There is a subtle imprint on the shank of each bit with the size, but it's really hard to see.

That's about it. This product is worth the 9 or so bucks you pay for it, don't expect Snap-On quality and you won't be disappointed.

The hex ends are not 1/4-inch sized (appear to be almost 1/8-tinch hex), but it's logical because many of the tips are ultra micro-sized versions which would not stand up to much torque. These are finesse tools for very precise work on unbelievably small screws, torx heads, double-pin security tips, and center-pinned security screws. Really good quality metalwork, finish, and detail heads for the prices.

Bought three of these. One for me, one for my son and one for my grandson. This is not a high quality set and for the price you shouldn't expect it to be. However for all those little jobs that take the right tool occasionally this is excellent to have around. No having to tear apart a junk drawer looking for the right fit tool. They're all in this one case.

This contains a very good assortment of bits, and is NOT magnetic, which can be very important for some applications.
However, the handle and chuck seem to be quite flimsy and I do not believe will hold up well. I would recommend it for occasional use, but this is not a professional product. It will be adequate for few times I may need the tiny torx bits, but I do not think I would like using it for daily or professional use.
It is a good set for the price.

After a brief horror experience with a 5 bucks precision tool I pulled the trigger on this one. I was worried a little bit that it is too cheap. For a 9 bucks (shipping included) this is just just a little more expensive than that other dreadful one. When this showed up I saw immediately that it is something else. The bits has a nice finish they seem to be ground instead of forged so the "precision" word is not just marketing in its name. After testing the 000 phillips bit on a set of screws the other one almost stripped this tool just had a blast. Finally it was a joy to work with those tiny screws on my photography equipment. I love the extension setup, the handle is grippy. I don't know how it is going to hold up over time but I believe it won't have a problem. I would buy it again.
