    As a transformer collector who likes to keep things in it's original packaging this toy is a nice addition to my collection. It won't be played with but it will be admired. The item itself looks to fit all the new smaller transformers out there.

    The packaging is very nice but I wish I could tell you more about the actual toy itself but for the collectors out there, they'll enjoy having this in their collection.

    My son, age 8, received this toy for his birthday. He loved it. It's ability to convert from exterior-view (star ship mode) to interior-view (command/control) is really slick. My son is sitting right next to me as I write this, and I just asked him "what his favorite part of the toy is?", and he replied, "the auto-neutron turret when it's in interior-mode".     This is a super cool toy and my sons both love it, but it's virtually impossible to find characters that will fit this size of play arena. The ship is relatively large, and opens to reveal a very interesting and cool interior area, but it accommodates small action figure-like toys which we have not been able to find easily in the transformer series.
    If you're a hardcore collector or your children don't want too much interactivity with the interior set then this would be great, otherwise it might be just an interesting shelf display piece.
    Without a lot of figures to create interactive story lines with that were on the same scale as this toy my kids lost interest fast, so you might want to do some research before purchasing and find some accompanying characters to really make this one a winner. I wish I had!
