My E551VA Vizo is just over 2 years old. Perfect, showroom condition. Recently decided to cut the cable and go to DTV with a roof mounted antenna. The DTV/coax section of the motherboard is defective and will not receive any of the over-air signals. I know thehe antenna signal is perfect because if the coax is plugged into my low end Sansui HD tv, it scans and finds all the available DTV broadcast perfectly. Talked with Vizio support and they conclude that the motherboard is bad. Out of warranty, hence $350.00. Never used this coax/DTV section of motherboard. Visio postion is "sucks to be you". My position is that since this part of the motherboard has never been used, it is most likely defective straight from the factory. Invested $950.00 in this boat anchor. Very poor warranty. Very poor factory final testing procedures. I will never purchase another Vizio product.
