Light yet sturdy base for support, velvet like interior, 3 stand positions which fit snugly into the bottom keeps it from slipping. When open it doesn't block anything, when closed blocks micro sd card slot, so what. Strap can be used for holding like a book with either hand. To stand it up you must unsnap it from the bottom 2 clips, could be a drawback to some people. Loop for stylus & band on bottom for keeping shut maybe, but the clip seems strong enough to keep it closed.

    I am using it now on my Tab and from some of the reviews I almost did not buy it. I had the 50 dollar Belkin folio cover which was fine, but a pain. It was hard to get it in and out of the Belkin, and the openings in it were not cut out well covering one speaker halfway. The most irritating thing was the case had to be open to charge!

    This MoKo case does not look or feel cheap. The stitching and finish workmanship is exceptional for the 50 dollar price range, and amazing at this price. It looks feels and smells like good quality grained leather. The ultrasuede part is rich feeling. The stitching is well done with no loose threads or bad seams.

    It works very simply and well as a stand. It holds the tablet very securely yet is simple to remove. The cover is a marvelous design. It secures simply and well.

    Best of all I can now charge it with the cover closed! :-)

    I bought because it was so cheap in price, I felt willing to gamble, but really only remotely hoped this would be the elusive deal that seems to be "too good to be true." In this case (pun) it was that good, and true!

    This folio would be good buy at five times the price, and looks rich and tasteful enough for the CEO and the stockholder. But it is priced where a working stiff can afford it too.

    Yes the wrapper is cellophane so it comes in clean and new. I throw away packaging and use the contents, not the other way around.

    Order it, you will be very happy with it.

    I've had this case for just over a week, and use my tablet for work and personal use. I have it with me constantly.

    The 10" Tab2 clicks into the case with three hard pieces on each side. The bottom corner piece isn't quite as sturdy as the other two, as it needs to have the flexibility to open up as a stand. This may cause me some concern after a couple months of opening/closing the bottom piece to use as a stand. The front cover also clicks into place with a hard rounded piece, and holds very tightly, which is impressive. All of the buttons for the tablet are available (open and closed) without being blocked, and the tablet can be charged while in the case, with the cover closed. This can be beneficial with kids/animals around that may cause messes in the area of tablet charging.

    The outer covering is a leather/pleather material. I'm not positive if it's real leather, but looks like it could be. It actually has a very professional look and feel to it. It seems to be of a decent material that I don't expect to show much wear and tear.

    The only reason I gave it a 4* and not 5* is because of the stand. The inside front cover has three indentations for the tablet to sit in. They are in good spots, and give a nice variety of angles to use, but they are not very deep and the tablet slides out fairly easy. This can get somewhat obnoxious if while sitting on the couch or in bed, it keeps sliding down and needs to be readjusted while in use. I don't have any issues with it sliding out while at a desk or table,

    Overall, I am very happy with this case, especially for the price. It's not bulky whatsoever, has a perfect fit, and looks nice while protecting the tablet. Even though I may have some issues with it keeping my tablet in place in a couple months, I'm not worried about that at the moment. I am slowly learning to deal with the 'sliding' issue while on the couch or in bed, even though not constant, it can get somewhat annoying.

    This is the perfect cover for the Samsang Galaxy Tab 2 10.1..... but NOT for any other products. The Amazon listing apparently combines all the different models of this case into one, so you have to be careful that you select the exact model that fits your device, because they are NOT the same. Judging from the reviews, people are selecting features (like the hand strap, which is not present on models that fit the 10.1 tablets, probably because the device is too heavy), and then getting one that doesn't fit.

    This is a slim, hard plastic device, covered with leather (real, in my case) which can also serve as a stand. There are 4 "claws" that hold your tablet firmly, and a curved plastic clasp that fits over the edge of your tablet when it's in the case, gently holding it closed. Inserting the tablet into the case isn't exactly intuitive, but once done, it fits securely. It works well as a stand, too, although if you're trying to type on the screen, you will eventually knock it down. It has cutouts that are properly placed to allow access to the ports, buttons, and camera lens (if they don't line up, that's another indicator that you bought the wrong model).

    All in all, this is a sturdy cover that does what it's designed to do (mine is 18 months old and has had constant use) and shows no signs of wear. Highly recommended.
