It cuts full-size SIMs down to micro-SIM size. It appears very accurately cast - I used it to cut two SIMs for an iPhone and both worked perfectly well. There are 3 extra SIM adapters for occasions need to revert back to using the SIM full size, however the SIM was little loose fitting, bug that can be fixed with tape on the back. I didn't buy the product for the 3 adapters so still give the product 5 stars as it did what I purchased it for!

The Noosy Micro SIM Cutter is nothing particularly special -- it cuts full-size SIMs down to micro-SIM size. But it's compact and the die seems very accurately cast. I cut two SIMs in the first five minutes after opening the package and both worked perfectly well in the target devices. Having the SIM adapters was a good insurance policy for me, in case I needed to revert back to the original devices.

BUYER BEWARE!!!

The first time I used it, it came apart. As another reviewer mentioned, it doesn't cut the SIM card. This presses a metal block through an opening, both shaped as a micro SIM card (block slightly smaller). One of the welds on the side of the lever came loose on the very first use of this piece of garbage.

Also, there's 3 locations where a diagram of the SIM card is drawn, showing how it is to be inserted into the cutter. ALL 3 are different. I was able to figure out which way to insert it by using images of other micro and regular SIM cards.

I don't know which method works better, cutting or pressing, but this device is worthless. Luckily, I used it on an old SIM card.

This was a waste of money and it actually cost more than most of the other cutters I saw. It was also the only one that didn't ship out of Hong Kong.

I use T-Mobile and apparently, you can call their customer service and request a micro SIM card at no charge. I don't know if this is true or not, but I will certainly try.

The SIM Clipper is an average, Nothing you can say OH MY GOD WHY DIDNT I BOUGHT THIS BEFORE... but it does the job! However, the SIM Adapters are very POOR design and quality. They bend and I'm personally not going to use them, rather keep the cutout left from the original SIM.

If you happen to see the clippe (same brand)without the adpaters and it's cheaper might as well save a penny or two instead of buying the adapters.

Overall as I said before I will give it 2 STARS... just because the clipper does it ok!

The Noosy Micro SIM cutter and adapter worked fine for my existing SIM cards with my unlocked iPhone 4. It made clean cuts and worked fine with ATT and other SIMs, and aligned perfectly. The only problem is that it is rather large and heavy to carry in your pocket or otherwise carry while traveling when you might need it to buy a local SIM while out of the country.

Just pay attention to the embossed SIM picture on the handle. If you put your card in wrong it will destroy it. Used a nailfile to finish the edges so I could use my TMobile sim in my iPhone 4.
