We know that jeans are much more than just denim and grommets; they’re a true blue American icon.

Staying true to the rich heritage — and authentic, all-American spirit — of denim, Lucky Brand began crafting great-fitting, vintage-inspired jeans in Los Angeles in 1990. We gave them their distinctively Lucky look by literally putting them through the wringer — ripping, fraying, sanding, patching and washing by hand — to give them true character and soul. Then, we added authentic hardware, personalized touches and playful details, and an American legend was born.

    I went into the MyFit stall in the mall, you know, the one that scans you for your perfect fit and gives you a shopping list. Anyway, This pair of jeans were on my list. I couldn't actually find them in my mall, so I found them here on Amazon.

    I usually wear a size 8 in jeans, but the MyFit said I should wear a 12 (31) in these. No worries as I have heard Lucky Brand runs small.

    When I received the jeans, I was impressed with the thick feel of the denim and the uniform color of the wash. Really was just what I was looking for. The "Lucky Me, Lucky You" styling on the zipper was super cute, and did add to the "designer" feel to these jeans. However, the fit was slightly too large, which could mean that I should be wearing a 10, not a 12. The inseam on these jeans are LONG, probably a good 2 inches longer than what I need. Hemming is no problem though, especially for such a great price.

    The reason I think these could be knock-offs, the tag on the inside of the jean, that tells the size and style reads, "Stark Sweet N Straigth" usually a misprint like that equals a knock-off. As this was my first pair of Lucky Brand jeans, I don't have another pair to compare them to.

    Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase. I have a quality jean at a decent price.

    Love the fit. Other reviewers mentioned how long they were. I routinely order long in most jeans as my inseam is 33.5 inches. These jeans are even long on me. Not really sure how the manufacturer sizes these, but 32 doesn't seem accurate. Overall, I love them. Just wear them with heels.

    I'm sure these would be awesome jeans if you could get ones the right size. The sizing for these jeans is totally inaccurate. If you wear a 30W 30L normally don't expect the same size to fit in these jeans. They will fall off of you. (Amazon provides no specific sizing chart or information to lead you to believe the sizing isn't as is stated, but how can you misinterpret sizing supposedly based on inch measurements?) This might have something to do with what the previous reviewer said about the incorrect material blend being listed. Something made of 100% cotton is going to be more true to size than a spandex blend. Now of course I could return these and order a smaller size, but when I ordered them two days ago they were on sale and now they are not, so I wouldn't get the same price, and I am certainly not paying the regular price for these jeans when they are not what is described and I don't even have a good basis for what size I should be getting. Now I know this particular issue has nothing at all to do with the item, but it is an annoyance I felt worthy of mention. I am giving these 3 stars because the quality seems good and the jeans seem to be nice, but the inaccurate sizing earns the two star demerit.

    I ordered these jeans months again and found then too small. I recently put them on (must have lost some weight) and was pleasantly surprised. While the low rise is not really suitable for my body shape, they are nevertheless really comfortable. This is because they have excellent stretch and the denim is very soft lightweight fabric and more skinny than straight. I dont think they are the best quality denim, but they look good and are wonderfully comfortable to wear.

    With my body shape, it is hard to find jeans that fit and fit in all the right places. I tried on my first pair of Lucky's, and was sold. I do not buy jeans unless they are Lucky's. They are pricy, so I don't buy one pair every few months, but definitely worth it! And they hold up to daily wear, tear and wash wonderfully! I was hesitant to buy them because I usually have bad experiences with straight and skinny jeans. As always, Lucky delivers again with these jeans! They fit perfectly and feel great!     Love this jean both for the quality of the denim and the dark wash, making it suitable for dressing up and wearing for business casual occasions. Be aware that there are "white lines", mimicking wear on the jeans from ironing creases, on both legs, front and back, starting at the knee. These lines are subtle, and are a nice touch, in my opinion. I've now bought a second pair with the shorter inseam so I can wear them with low-heeled shoes and flats. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
