My family loves playing trivia, but the board game takes so long that we seldom play. This game is fast, fun, and offers the twist of being able to steal cards when you want to annoy your sisters and block when they try to retaliate. The only problem is that the game is made in the USA but actually created by Hasbro Canada, so the geography, arts and literature, and many of the entertainment questions are about Canada like who won the 2006 Giller prize (spoiler: Dr. Vincent Lamb), and I am one of those annoying Americans who doesn't know anything about Canada. The overall effect is a leveling of the playing field, education about our neighbor to the north, and lots of laughs.

I purchased this game as a stocking stuffer for my husband. It's been a fun game to play with friends. While my husband is excellent with trivia, I tend to not know as many of the facts. Despite this, the game is still fun, and actually has some questions for everybody. I really enjoy having games that consist of a deck of cards, as it is easy to take on trips or to a friend's house. Also, there are enough questions that you can easily play the game many, many times and not be familiar with the questions. Fun game, good value!

My boys 13 and 14 and I play together and they know just as much as I do. It is a fun, relatively quick game. Like other reviewers my only complaint is that only after playing it twice we were running into the same questions. So, maybe this would be good to play less often. Good, fun game for the price. Plus its portable. I can see us just asking the questions to eachother to pass the time on roadtrips.

Our extended family is big into games and we loved playing this! I'm not sure we'll ever go back to the board game version. The card game is much faster and the ability to steal cards from opponents adds an edge to the game. We only wish there were more trivia cards, but there's no reason you can't play with cards from the board game version.

This was a very fun version of Trivial Pursuit. It made the trivia part more exciting by being able to steal cards. It just added a whole new element. The problem is, once you get through the pile of cards, questions start getting repeated. There aren't enough cards to make this a game that can be played over and over again.

This game is very very fun to play, I almost like it more than the board game. My only gripe with this game, and unfortunately it is a huge gripe, is that there are double and sometimes triple uses of the questions...WTF? Seriously? They could not come up with enough questions to have every question on every card be unique?! It's not like they have the entire Trivial Pursuit archives to choose from right (sarcasm)! I just don't understand this, it really ruins game play too because a double question is easy, you know the answer without having to think about it. Also, this is not my mistake, I didn't reshuffle, we noticed this the first time we played the game on the first pack, there were multiple double uses of questions, same question on two or three different cards!-All decks are the same too because for christmas my sister got this for me and my husband bought it for my mother, when we noticed this we checked both decks and sure enough, duplicate questions in both decks. This is very unfortunate because the game is a blast, just wish they wouldn't have skimmed so much on the content!

This game is awesomely fun! Except it's the Canadian version. We live in America and don't really know much about Canadian athletes and politicians. So unless you're well versed in all things Canadian I don't recommend it.

Classical trivial pursuit is a very boring game to me. The card game combines the trivia aspect of the original game with group participation and strategy, which I adore. Even players who are not trivia buffs can enjoy the game. It is super portable, with no pie wedges to get lost. Highly recommend it!
