This charger is awesome. I have a 2-charger version of the upright nyko brand one. It works well enough but you have to take off those sleeves and numchucks/motion plus accessories to charge. This inductive charger makes life much simpler, you just drop the controller on the charger and it will charge just fine no matter what accessories are attached!
Unlike the upright charger I have as well, this charger lays flat and actually fits in the cupboard I keep my Wii in. The upright one is too tall with the chargers on it so I have to keep it out in the open, it's not the most eye-friendly device either. The energizer flat panel has a sleek look to it that I wouldn't mind keeping it in the open, but it's a lot nicer that I can keep it away with the rest of the electronics - it's small profile makes this charger far more versatile than the competition.
The thing seems to charge really quick, I play a lot of Wii and have never come back to find a remote with the charging light still on. The remotes are normally warm/hot to touch, so I'm sure they did charge, but that is only an issue for a minute or two.
My favorite feature with this charging system is that the battery packs (included! unlike the competition) don't get hurt if they are not allowed to fully charge. I've never needed to grab one before it was done, but it's comforting to know that if I need to get a game in I always have the opportunity to do so without having to worry about my batteries being worse off in a week or two.
Overall I'm thoroughly satisfied with my choice of charger system, I wouldn't advise going any other way.

We have gotten excellent performance out of our Energizer induction charger. I really like it because you don't need to take the Wii remote jacket off every time you recharge. We've owned this for 9 or 10 months, and have regularly charged both of our remotes (with Motion Plus adapters attached). We only put them on the charger when they are low on power, but that's often enough (probably twice a week for each remote, maybe more). After each charge, the batteries last for a respectable amount of time.

The only reason this product doesn't get five stars is because extra batteries are not as readily available as they could be. You need to make sure you get the right kind of batteries that are meant to be charged with this induction charger. You can now find these on the manufacturer's website (pdp dot com). However, at a cost of thirteen bucks each, if you want two extra batteries (we just got two more remotes), it ends up being more cost-efficient to spend twenty bucks at Amazon to buy an entire extra charging unit with included batteries, rather than buying them from PDP individually.

Bought this because I could charge batteries in the motion silicone sleeve. Sounded like a perfect solution to an issue. Energizer is known for their batteries!!! Unfortunately, Energizer just put their name on it. This item is made and distributed by PDP (Performance Designed Products). They do make a lot of stuff all of which I don't use because of a lack of interest in controllers with stickers on em'. Induction charging is awesome and the station is great. What sucks about this item is the fact that the batteries are crap. After 3 months, one of the batteries is burned and won't charge. Just flashing red rapidly which means the battery must be replaced. Now this isn't a big deal to me but...wait for it...warranty service requires you to pay to ship the item to them with a check for another $8.00. Considering that the whole station is only $23 is isn't really worth it. Why do you ask? The replacement battery is $13.00. $4-5 to ship it to them with another $8 to get it back. Why waste the time and not just order another one and get it in a 1/4 of the time? I see a lot of other people with battery issues, some sooner, some later. All in all, rechargeable batteries should last at least 6 months with extreme use, not 3 months with once a week use. Just buy two sets of the charging station (so long as its under $26 and you'll have two extra batteries from the start. The product is good in theory, but they missed the mark when it comes to the battery.

Looks great & good concept since all you have to do is place the Wii-mote onto the panel. However, those are the only good attributes about this product! Not sure about other 3rd party rechargeable battery setup's (designed for the Wii-exclusively) however, I've got two VERY SERIOUS complaints about this product: 1) If you don't use them for 1 - 1.5-weeks then the battery drains completely!!! In comparison, I won't touch an xBox 360 or a PS3 controller for weeks at a time yet still have a rather decent battery charge on them & 2) Battery life's horrendous on this thing! I'll get lucky if I can get 3 - 4 hours of usage before I need to recharge it again. Fortunately for me, I've got spare double-A batteries at home if these things need to be recharged in the middle of playing. The only reason this product isn't getting a 1-star rating from me is because the charger looks sleek, it actually charges consistently & it was a decent price when I bought it (around twenty-dollars during a Goldbox deal). Let's just hope Nintendo includes quality rechargeable batteries (like Microsoft & Sony) for their next-gen system they're announcing at E3 here soon!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Battery Solution.
Reviewed in Canada on January 8, 2015
so far its working great, took about 4 hours to charge. you have to use the battery covers they provided (2 white 2 black) so if you have a different colored controller be prepared. i had placed it on a stand which was made of metal, the charger would not work, interferes with induction charge. Just hope the batteries hold up, tho i will be alternating use to try and wear evenly.

5.0 out of 5 stars La meilleure station de recharge
Reviewed in France on December 9, 2012

4.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant product- flawed by poor quality batteries
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on May 16, 2012
I managed to buy the last one (at this time) available, which was an amazon warehouse deal. Unfortunately from the moment it was unpacked, one battery pack contained batteries that were completely shot. The left side LED lights don't work when fully charged either. As it was the last one in stock, I chose to keep it rather than accept a full refund. Ordered a set of AAA energizer ni-mh batteries and the charging pack worked again. So even though it didn't work as advertised, I ended up with longer lasting battery packs. This is a major fault with this model, although unfortunately outside of the US I think you're limited to only getting a refund on it, while in the states the company will send you new batteries free of charge, as it is a well documented issue.
That said, it's still worth buying. Can charge both old and new remotes, with or without silicon protector. None of the fiddly bits as the competition has, getting the charging points to line up exactly. Pop the remotes on the charging pad, they align themselves and trickle charge until you want to play again. Within a few months it will have paid for itself in batteries saved.
