Velma's sphinx restoration project quickly becomes a dangerous mission for Scooby Doo and the gang when a buried staircase leading to Cleopatra's tomb is unearthed and the curse of Cleopatra is resurrected. Faced with the fall of the River Nile, a desert on the rise, a newly awakened army of the dead, a ruthless treasure hunter and the threat of being instantly turned to stone, the gang sets off to explore Cleopatra's tomb.
